The ONLY reason I went was because my favorite band, An Cafe, was there.
So, I didn't go to school on Friday because Raphu-yuuki and his mother picked me up that morning.
We drove down to FanimeCon and stood in line two hours for our tickets to the live.
I was a lot nervous during the wait because they only give out a certain amount of tickets and I was afraid we wouldn't get them. Turns out, we did. It was the most beautiful little piece of pink paper I'd seen in my life~
So, then we were on our way to Raphu-yuuki's aunt's house where we stayed the night and blah blah blah.
We bought fuzzy black handcuffs at the mall which we wore most of FanimeCon so we wouldn't get lost or seperated. It worked~
Saturday, Raphu-yuuki's mom drove us back down to FanimeCon.
Blah blah blah. We didn't really do much that day. We wandered around and bought An Cafe merchandise and walked around some more. But the majority of Saturday was laying around hotel rooms, bored and tired.
Eventually when Zara joined us in our room, Raphu-yuuki and I had fun making sex positions. We were bored. It made Zara feel awkward. It was our source of entertainment.
Blah blah blah. Saturday wasn't too important.
Sunday~
Good ol' Sunday. We woke up a bit late, actually.
Once we were awake and ready, Raphu-yuuki and I hung out at FanimeCon, tons of people asked for our pictures because of our outfits, before we decided to go line up for the concert. We started lining up at around 11AM, but we weren't even allowed to form a line until 2PM. So, we left until about 1PM, then we came back and a large line had formed. We were near the front.
Then these guys came and threatened to take away our tickets and badges and everything, and they said we weren't allowed to wait or they'd call the police. So, all through that sidewalk were Cafekko walking slowly until it was 2PM and the line could form.
When it was finally 2PM, by then Raphu-yuuki and I had found a group of people to hang out with along with Hana-chan and her friend, we rushed to jump in line. We were still near the front.
After a seven hour wait.. WE WERE FINALLY LET INSIDE. And we stood in the middle, a few lines of people in front of us. But we were still so close to the stage. It was so packed in there and people were pushing and shoving. The opening band, Ramen and Rice, was alright, but we were all waiting for An Cafe.
Finally, when An Cafe started coming out, the people kept shoving and screaming, and I was screaming too. Miku came out last. When Miku came out I started crying. He was there, in person, so close and yet so far away. I was so happy I could finally see him in person.
But the crowd kept shoving and eventually turned into a mosh pit really quickly. I couldn't breathe and I was close to throwing up. I tried to scream for people to let me out, but my voice was barely really heard above all the fan cheers. It was so scary.
With the help of the Asian chick behind me, three black guys, and Raphu-yuuki, I was able to get out of there. Not to seem racist against my own race, but I don't think I'm fond of white people anymore. The only kind white people I met were the ones who stood in line with us. But we were seperated. I'm sure they would have helped if they could. But, seriously, none of the white people really even cared.
Sometimes I hate Americans. We so rude and uncaring for those around us. WTF. I mean, seriously. Not to mention that lives in Japan are NOTHING like the ones in America.
ANYWAY, so, I cried throughout the whole live and I kept my eyes on Miku~He was so perfect and cute and so real.
After the live, the Cafekko started calling their name. I wondered if An Cafe would return for an encore, but I didn't cheer them out. I just stood and waited. Once I started giving up hope and getting ready to leave, they rushed back out and played Smile Ichiban Ii Onna.. That was the first song I'd ever listened to by them. It made me cry all over again.
A while after the live, Raphu-yuuki and I joined Zara in the line for autograph tickets. I'd gotten one from a lady who was waiting in the line for the live show. I was lucky.
Unfortunately, Raphu-yuuki didn't have one. So, we waited in that line from 11PM until 9AM. We slept on the cold tile floor in the cold building with the doors open and the AC on. But, it'd all be worth it, we figured.
Raphu-yuuki and Zara kept telling me I could go back to the hotel room to sleep, but I didn't want to be seperated from Marco, so I stuck it out.
Eventually, we got his ticket and rushed back to the hotel room to get ready. Once we were ready, we went back to FanimeCon and more people took pictures of us. We went shopping again in the dealers room.
Then we went to the autograph signing. The line was a bit long, but it was moving pretty fast. Raphu-yuuki and I realized we didn't have a picture of all the members together.. and we were going to have them sign a big poster of Miku.
Thankfully when we were up there they had free FanimeCon booklets that had a picture of all five members. Thank goodness we didn't have to insult anyone. So, they signed that.
The first person who signed was Teruki. This chick put a book in front of him and he signed it and it was passed on. Then Raphu-yuuki put a book in front of him, but someone took it away, then Raphu-yuuki grabbed in back and put it in front of Teruki again. Then someone the already signed one appeared again. Poor Teruki was ohh so confused. You could clearly see his confusion on his face. Then his translater came and saved the day. When everything was finally settled, I put my book in front of him and he said "hello" and signed it. Then he smiled at me and shook my hand. I replied with a slight bow, a "hello" back, and a hand shake.
Next was Yuuki. He looked so cool up close [he looked awesome on stage, too]. He said "hi" so I said "hi" back. He sighed my book, shook my hand and said "thank you". I shook his hand, smiled, and giggled as I move to the next person in line.
That was my idol, Miku. He told Raphu-yuuki, "Ohh!! You're dressed as fairy." It was so cute. When he saw my fairy wings he said, "Ohh!! You too!! Nyappy." He did the nyappy sign, signed my book, and we shook hands. It was glorious. I love Miku.
Takuya was next. He said "hello" when I got up to him and I replied the same. He signed my booklet and then shook my hand. He looks so different up close.
Lastly was Kanon. When I got to him I couldn't stop staring at his eyes. He had so much dark makeup on and he kept making eye contact. It was embarrassing. Anyway, he said "hi" and I replied the same and he signed my book also. We shook hands.
It might have only been a few short moments that I was with each of them.. but it was the best few moments of my life.
After that we got ready to leave and we went to Raphu-yuuki's aunt's house again. Blah blah blah. Finally we got in the car to go home at around 7PM. I got home at 11PM.
Raphu-yuuki and I were pretty much asleep the whole car ride.
ANYWAY.. FanimeCon was the BEST weekend I've ever had.
Miku said they'd be coming back to America and I will MOST definately go see them wherever part of America they may be.
We spent over 19 hours in lines during the weekend. But every second we waited was totally worth it.
I can't wait. I'm going to see Miku again someday.
And Raphu-yuuki and I are more inspired to putting more commitment into our band.. Haha. We're going to start a band. Heck yes. We can only hope to one day be as good as An Cafe. :3 In my opinion, there's nothing better. No one can be better than An Cafe.
Apparently I look yumm?
I just remembered..
While in line for the live, Raphu-yuuki and I and a group we met there were complaining we were hungry. One of the staff just randomly said to eat me because I look good.
o___o.. wtf?
